Job requirements

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Field Operations Technical Manager to lead and coordinate our field teams, ensure seamless on-site technical delivery, and drive operational excellence across all deployment and support activities. This is a highly operational, people-facing role that requires both technical depth and strong leadership skills.

You will serve as the bridge between our engineering, customer success, and project teams, ensuring that field execution meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Field Operations Management

  • Lead, plan, and coordinate field teams for installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities

  • Oversee on-site technical operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field activities

  • Monitor field team performance and ensure adherence to technical and safety standards

  • Coach and develop field technicians to improve technical capability and execution quality

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance during complex deployments and escalations

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the field and coordinate resolution

  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring field issues and drive corrective actions

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to relay field feedback and drive continuous improvement

  • Manage spare parts inventory and logistics for field operations

  • Ensure high standards of installation quality, technical documentation, and commissioning records

Stakeholder & Customer Management

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for key customers during field operations

  • Lead technical escalations and support customer issue resolution during critical situations

  • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and high-quality delivery

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Track and report KPIs related to field operations efficiency, installation quality, SLA compliance, first-time fix rate, repeat visits, and team productivity

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to improve processes

  • Prepare technical reports and field operation documentation.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE policies, customer site safety requirements, and industry best practices during all field activities.

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in field operations, technical project management, or a related role

  • Background in industrial automation, robotics & automation, material handling, intralogistics, machinery/equipment installation & service, automotive manufacturing or industrial technical service operations

  • Proven experience managing field or on-site technical teams, including coaching and developing field technicians

  • Strong knowledge of installation quality standards, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable with frequent domestic and international travel

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken); Turkish is a plus

  • Valid driver's license
