Job description
About Trio Mobil
Trio Mobil is a global Industrial Safety IoT platform company focused on preventing Serious Injuries and Fatalities (SIF/PSIF) in industrial environments.
As a pioneer in AI- and IoT-powered Industrial Safety Solutions, we combine AI-powered detection, real-time location technologies, and enterprise analytics to identify risks as they emerge and provide long-term visibility into workplace exposure.
We partner with Fortune 1000 companies to help organizations move from reactive safety management to proactive, data-driven risk prevention at scale.
Our team of 250+ professionals, including 60+ R&D specialists, develops our technology and intellectual property in-house, enabling us to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable solutions to customers around the world.
The Role
We are looking for a Chief of Staff to the CFO to work directly with our CFO and play a key role in strengthening and scaling Trio Mobil's global finance function.
Trio Mobil is currently transitioning toward US GAAP consolidated reporting, while managing an active lender relationship and an established board-level reporting cadence. Our finance function operates across multiple entities and geographies and works closely with lenders, auditors, advisors, investors, and external service providers.
As we continue to scale, one of our priorities is to build a more self-sufficient, technology-enabled finance organization, including bringing critical reporting and analytical capabilities in-house.
This is a highly visible and hands-on role combining financial reporting, strategic finance, technical accounting, investor and lender communication, and finance transformation.
You will work as a trusted partner to the CFO, bringing independent judgment, technical rigor, and external-facing credibility. You will also have the opportunity to represent the finance function directly with senior internal and external stakeholders.
You will be part of a small, high-performing team with significant ownership and exposure to executive-level decision-making.
What You'll Own
Consolidated Financial Reporting: Own and strengthen monthly and quarterly consolidated reporting across our Türkiye, Netherlands, and US entities, ensuring reporting is accurate, scalable, and able to withstand auditor, lender, board, and investor scrutiny.
Board & Investor Reporting: Develop board and investor materials, including KPI reporting, ARR and growth analysis, financial narratives, and board deck preparation.
Technical Accounting & Consolidation: Support the transition to US GAAP, including consolidation and revenue recognition under ASC 606, while working closely with outsourced providers and external advisors in the Netherlands and the US.
Financial Analysis & Strategic Insight: Translate financial and operating data into clear insights that support executive decision-making, business performance, and long-term planning.
Treasury & Cash Flow: Strengthen cash-flow forecasting and treasury discipline in close partnership with the treasury lead.
Finance Transformation: Build technology-enabled finance metrics, dashboards, and workflows that improve visibility, automation, and control while reducing reliance on manual or single-person-dependent processes.
External Stakeholder Management: Represent the finance function credibly and independently in interactions with auditors, lenders, investors, advisors, and the Board when required.
CFO Partnership: Act as a trusted extension of the CFO, helping drive key finance initiatives, follow through on strategic priorities, and bring structure and momentum to cross-functional projects.
Job requirements
What You Bring
5–10 years of relevant experience across one or more of the following environments: Big Four audit or transaction services, investment banking, private equity/venture capital, strategic finance, or a fast-scaling technology company.
Strong experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, consolidation, and management/investor reporting.
Solid understanding of technology-company financial and operating metrics, with the ability to connect accounting results with business and investor perspectives.
Exposure to US GAAP, multi-entity consolidation, and/or ASC 606 is highly valuable.
Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to work comfortably with complex financial information while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent written and spoken English is essential. You should be comfortable communicating directly with senior stakeholders, including auditors, lenders, investors, advisors, and Board members.
High level of ownership and independent judgment, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and evolving environment.
AI-literate and technology-oriented: you actively use AI and modern finance tools to build, automate, challenge, and verify financial workflows rather than relying solely on manual processes.
A hands-on mindset. You are equally comfortable thinking strategically and getting into the details to ensure high-quality execution.
Compensation
We offer a competitive, market-aligned compensation package, with equity/options forming a meaningful component of total compensation.
